Chat commands

FizzyPeak reads along with every message in your Twitch chat. When you or a moderator types a command with !, we run actions — without you having to open the dashboard.

Available commands

`!privacy`	Mod / Broadcaster	Toggles Privacy mode — video goes black instantly, the stream keeps running
`!bitrate` or `!br`	Everyone	The bot replies in chat with the current bitrate + state (e.g. `✅ 7.8 Mbps · live`)
`!fix` or `!refresh`	Mod / Broadcaster	Reloads the current scene in Cloud-OBS (helps with browser source hangs)
`!uptime`	Everyone	The bot replies with the stream duration (`⏱️ Stream has been live for 2h 14m`)
`!status`	Everyone	Combines uptime + bitrate in one line

Who is a "Mod"?

Any Twitch user with a moderator badge in your channel. You set this on Twitch itself (/mod username in chat). FizzyPeak reads the badge from every IRC message.

When is this useful?

For IRL streamers

You're in the car and suddenly have to stop for the police. Your mod types !privacy → video gone.
A viewer asks for the bitrate. You can't answer because you're driving. !bitrate → the bot does it for you.
The chat overlay freezes. You type !fix from your phone, the scene reloads, chat works again.

For 24/7 channel operators

!uptime shows viewers how long the stream has been running
!status for automatic health checks by followers

For gaming streamers on a break

!privacy when you pop to the toilet — viewers know "he's still online, back soon"

Can I add my own commands?

Not yet as user-configurable. Custom commands are coming to the Bot tab in a future release. The core commands above are hard-wired because they trigger system-relevant actions (scene switch, Cloud-OBS rebuild).

Why does the bot sometimes not reply?

The bot posts its responses directly back into chat — across platforms (Twitch, Kick, YouTube). The action (e.g. privacy toggle, scene rebuild) is carried out and the result is shown as a chat message.

Real bot replies into IRC are coming in one of the next updates — for that we need your bot Twitch account with write scope.

How do I disable commands?

In the dashboard under Account → Chat Commands:

Which tier do I need?

Chat commands work from the Creator plan (€12/mo) — because for that you need an active Twitch connection + Cloud-OBS access.

Under Account → Chat Commands → "Show history" you can see the last 50 command calls.
