Where do you find your FizzyPeak stream key and how do you paste it into Belabox, OBS, or Moblin?

Copying and Pasting Your Stream Key

Your stream key is your ingest credential — it's how your encoder tells the cloud: "Here comes my stream." Every FizzyPeak account has its own key, which must be kept secret.

Finding the key

  1. Open the dashboard: fizzypeak.stream/app
  2. In the sidebar, click Account -> Setup Guide
  3. Scroll to the section "Your Ingest URL"
  4. Click the eye icon to reveal the key
  5. Click Copy

You'll see two fields:

  • SRT URL — for Belabox, Moblin, IRL Pro (preferred for IRL)
  • RTMP URL + Stream Key — for OBS Studio or classic encoders
Important: The key is like a password. Don't show it in screenshots, don't post it in Discord, don't push it to GitHub. If compromised: click "Rotate Key" in the Setup Guide.

Pasting the key — per encoder

Belabox / SRTLA

In the Belabox web interface, paste under Streaming -> SRTLA URL:

srt://ingest.fizzypeak.stream:9999?streamid=publish:DEIN-KEY&latency=2000

OBS Studio

Settings -> Stream:

  • Service: Custom
  • Server: rtmp://ingest.fizzypeak.stream/live
  • Stream Key: DEIN-KEY

Moblin (iOS)

In Moblin: paste under Settings -> Streams -> Edit -> URL:

srt://ingest.fizzypeak.stream:9999?streamid=publish:DEIN-KEY&latency=2000

IRL Pro (iOS)

In IRL Pro: set Stream URL to the complete SRT URL field. Details in IRL Pro Setup.

Security

  • Never post the key in chat or stream chat (!!)
  • Rotate immediately after a theft
  • Rate limits: FizzyPeak blocks after 5 failed auth attempts within 10 minutes
  • On an accidental leak: rotate -> update the new URL in all encoders

Key rotation — when?

  • You accidentally streamed and the key was on screen -> rotate immediately
  • You share your account with someone and part ways -> rotate
  • You pushed the key into a repo -> rotate

Rotating takes under 2 seconds. The old key becomes invalid immediately — running streams may be disconnected, so don't plan it while you're live.
