Show overlays in OBS — with one link

Your whole live scene as a single browser source in OBS. One link instead of ten — chat, alerts and goals show up exactly where you placed them in the editor.

Show overlays in OBS — with one link

You've placed chat, alerts and goals in the scene editor and now you want them in OBS. It used to mean adding each browser source by hand and positioning it yourself. Not anymore. FizzyPeak gives you one link for your whole live scene — drop it in as a single full-screen browser source, done.

Get the scene overlay link

  1. Open the dashboard → Overlays tab
  2. At the top you'll see the "Scene overlay link" card
  3. Click Copy link — it's now on your clipboard

Add it in OBS

  1. In OBS under Sources, click + → Browser
  2. Name the source (e.g. FizzyPeak Overlays) → OK
  3. In URL, paste the copied link
  4. Width 1920, Height 1080 (for a vertical stream use 1080 × 1920)
  5. OK — your widgets appear exactly where you set them in the editor

The page background is transparent, so you only see the widgets over your picture. Drag the browser source above your camera/game capture in the layer list.

One link, all widgets. Move something in the scene editor or add a widget, and you don't have to touch OBS again — the source always shows your current live scene.

When you want it to change

Need to kill the link (say it ended up somewhere it shouldn't)? Click Reset on the card. The old link stops working immediately — then update the new URL in OBS once.

Not quite right?

  • A widget fills the whole picture: it doesn't have its own position in the scene editor yet. Jump into the editor, drag the widget into place — the link picks it up.
  • Nothing showing: check that your widgets are assigned to the Live scene in the editor. Widgets with no scene assignment count as Live automatically.

The scene overlay link is included from Creator. On the go, the same link also works in Moblin and Larix.
