Show overlays in Larix — with one link
Larix Broadcaster can do web overlays — HTML pages that sit transparently over your stream. That's how you get your whole FizzyPeak scene onto the mobile picture: one link, all widgets at their positions.
Web overlays are an advanced feature in Larix and need Larix Premium. Without Premium you can show the Twitch chat separately via Kapchat instead.
Get the link
- Dashboard → Overlays tab → "Scene overlay link" card
- Copy link — copy on desktop and send it to your phone
Set it up in Larix
- In Larix: Settings → Overlays
- + → Web overlay (add web widget)
- In URL, paste the scene overlay link
- Set the size to your resolution —
1920×1080landscape,1080×1920vertical - Save and enable
Larix can hold separate overlay sets for Live, Pause and Standby. Put your scene overlay in the Live set — then it runs exactly when you're broadcasting.
Good to know
- One link, all widgets. Move something in the scene editor and Larix picks it up on the next load.
- Transparent: only your widgets are visible, no background.
If it acts up
- Overlay fills the picture: the widget has no position in the editor yet — drag it into place.
- Empty: widgets have to be assigned to the Live scene (no assignment = Live automatically).
The same link also works in OBS and Moblin. To connect Larix as an encoder, see the Larix guide.
