Troubleshooting
When something breaks — fixes & debugging
- Fixing Connection ProblemsNot receiving an SRT stream? Checklist for firewall, port 9999, bitrate, and latency.
- Chat doesn't appear in the overlayChat overlay stays empty? Twitch OAuth, Kick username, Channel ID — the most common causes.
- Fixing Glitchy Video with OBS via SRTWhen your desktop OBS sends to FizzyPeak over SRT and the image stutters or pixelates — one single URL parameter fixes the problem.
- Fix IRL Pro "Cannot Connect to Server"IRL Pro shows "Cannot Connect to Server" even though your FizzyPeak settings are correct? Connection Bonding is usually the culprit. Here's how to fix it in 30 seconds.
- Refreshing Your Stream with the !f CommandYour stream suddenly looks weird or has audio issues? With !f you refresh your ingest in 10 seconds — but use it wisely.
- Fix Poor Mobile Connectivity for IRL StreamingWhy your IRL stream stutters even though you have "good signal" — and what actually helps. From handoffs to carrier aggregation to band selection.
- Stream Broken After Changing Your Twitch PasswordYou changed your Twitch password and suddenly FizzyPeak can't stream anymore? That's not a bug — Twitch automatically resets your stream key when you do that.
- Lost Mobile Signal Mid-Stream — What Now?You lose signal on the move and the stream drops? With FizzyPeak's NOALBS-style logic almost nothing happens — as long as you know what to do.
